Sayulita

Sayulita is probably our family's favorite day trip and an excursion we would highly recommend. It works well for our family because there seems to something for everyone; great waves and beach, surfing and surf lessons, funky shopping, beach side food and beverage service, plain old relaxing, and a very laid back environment.

Sayulita is definable a "surf town" and attracts a "surf crowd", including lots of young transients, baby boom hippies, and the people watchers.

The bus ride from Bucerias costs 10 peso or $1.00 and terminates close to the heart of town and just a short walk from the beach.

Sayulita is 1 hr ahead of Bucerias and PV so things do not get started too early. For great food and some entertaining antics, Rollies for breakfast is an absolute must.
