Don is one of the handful of Vernon realtors who were the founding members of ReMax way back in 1988 and has consistently been a top producer ever since. Although technically not "old" he could be described as "very experienced" with 20 years of Vernon and area real estate expertise. Don's hard work ethic and committment to customer service have evolved his real estate business from busy realtor, to busy realtor with assistant(s), to the present team structure to better serve the needs of buyers and sellers while still providing personalized service. When not assisting clients listing or selling homes Don can usually be found either at home or at Silver Star with wife Sue and children Crystal, Sarah, Leah and Jacob. Although client and family needs dominate the majority of Don's time he has been known to "knock off" the odd time for a water-ski, snowboard or a round of golf.

Bjorn Edblad, Realtor
Bjorn Edblad was born and raised in Northern Sweden and came to Canada with his wife and two children through his former life as a chemical engineer. Bjorn started his real estate career in 1972 and established his own successful real estate business. A believer in education, Bjorn completed the 4-year, University of BC Real Estate Marketing and Appraisal Course and also earned a Diploma degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. In 1996 Bjorn relocated to Vernon as "the place to live" where his real estate prominence continued. Bjorn's down-to-earth, no-pressure sales approach makes him a pleasure to work with when you're buying or selling a home or a property. Bjorn specializes in project marketing and commercial / investment properties. Chelsea Muir, Listing Co-ordinator
Chelsea is the listing co-ordinator and customer service representative for the Don Defeo Realty team and will manage the marketing, advertising and web exposure of your property. If you are a buyer Chelsea will assist your licensed realtor with the research and the behind the scenes customer services functions of your purchase. A graduate of University of Victoria, Chelsea has a Bachelors degree also has the skills aptitude and attention to detail to ensure all goes well with your purchase or the listing / marketing of your property. Raised in Vernon Chelsea knows Vernon very well and has lots of practical local knowledge. When not working you can usually find Chelsea renovating her new old home or snowboarding the local mountains.

Anna, Administration
Anna heads up the sales and conveyancing / administration department of the Don Defeo team. Other than the actual listing and sales functions handled by the licensed realtors Anna’s job description encompasses pretty well everything else. If you buy or sell with Don Defeo Realty, Anna will be your liaison to your realtor and the other professionals in your transaction. Anna’s past experience as a realtor combined with a background in accounting, a fine attention to detail, great problem solving abilities and a "get it done attitude" will ensure your buying or selling experience goes smoothly. When not working, Anna can be found helping in the family business, The Vernon Towne Cinema, along side her husband Gerry, and children Hailee and Jake.

Moving Van
The Don Defeo Realty Customer Courtesy Van is available to all current and past clients absolutely free of charge and is perfect for local and short distance moves. It was recruited to the team in 2003 after it experienced an unfortunate corporate downsizing from Budget and replaces a distant but older cousin whose age prevented it from providing clients with reliable and excellent service. The new Don Defeo Realty Customer Courtesy Van is an easy to drive 16’ cube van with automatic transmission, gas engine, flat surface box, extendable ramp, and is equipped with appliance and box dollies, and a few moving blankets. Although free of charge clients are required to pay their own fuel and any damage. Bookings are on a first come policy. Tipping is discouraged but is allowed in special circumstances.

A huge benefit of the Don Defeo Realty Team is the synergy, professionalism, enthusiasm and experience of the larger team at ReMax Vernon.
